Brief description of the role

  1. Work closely with production teams to ensure the tools are ready for production runs.
  2. Ensure tools are maintained in optimal working condition to prevent defects in CNC machining processes.
  3. Tool Setup and Preparation (Using Zoller Pre-Setter)
  4. Accurately measure the tool’s geometry (length, radius, diameter) using the Zoller Pre-Setter.
  5. Regularly monitor the operation of CNC machines, checking that tool performance remains consistent throughout the production cycle.
  6. Adjust tooling as necessary during production based on the performance of the CNC machine and any issues encountered.
  7. Troubleshoot issues related to Tooling and rectify any errors in tool offset.
  8. Keep track of tooling usage, and monitor the inventory of cutting tools and inserts
